Wilderness... you already have signed in.
Best thing from here that you can do is bring your friends on board, right to this thread. Get them involved, find out what they would like to do.
In mid-April I will take another poll and contact each member expressing interest.

Here's the list as of 2014.03.10 midday...
I suggest May 11th and a first stab at itinerary might look something like the following....
Suggested Itinerary 1
King township is perfect because it is so central. We have people coming in from Barrie and Oshawa. King City proper is good for photo ops, as is the country side around, including Seneca College, the old Eaton Estate (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eaton_Hall_%28King_City%29), and Mary Lake Retreat with the lake, the shrine and old Germanic bull barns http://www.flickr.com/photos/xprogrammer/2643310686/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/xprogra...n/photostream/
There is a country hotel called Kingsbridge Centre @ King Sideroad and Jane Street, just off Hwy 400, that I go into to photograph my vehicle (see photo below). I drive a lot in King township because it is very scenic, perhaps even with some offroading potential.
See http://www.kingbridgecentre.com/
They are doing an Easter Brunch there on Sunday morning April 20th at 11:00 A.M. if you would like to make something for that day. This would be a family event, with wives and girfriends. $40 a head. Being a hotel, you can stay overnight there Saturday night if you like. Failing that (its $40 a head although I will be in discussions with these people and will ask for a group rate) we will move this event to Sunday May 11 for less exotic fare.
There is also a museum of old King buildings almost next door that we can pull in to for more photo ops... right on King Sideroad east of Jane St. Next is a cruise up through King City and then up Keele St. into the countryside, Eaton Estate and Mary Lake. After that, lunch. King City has a very nice pub, and restaurant called the Hunt Pub at Hogan's Inn... http://hogansinn.com/hunt-pub/
Failing the Easter thing we can adapt this plan into mid-May, and avoid the fancy eating at Knightsbridge.
The photo below of my truck is at the Centre...
Suggested Itinerary 2
Kleinberg is also central, and nearby. An historic village, it can get a bit busy and touristy but has lots of amenity, and of course fabulous backdrops for shooting pics. The town is just west off Hwy. 400 in Vaughan Township, just south of King. Local attractions include McMichael Art Gallery, Kortright Centre, Humber River Trails & Bindertwine Park, Copper Creek Golf Course, and The Doctor's House. The Pierre Berton Discovery Centre is in the final stage of planning and is expected to open in 2014. If we get there early enough we will avoid the crowds... do breakfast and then out for a rip on the local country roads, nice and hilly.
If you bring the kids Canada's Wonderland is right next door (I've never been there)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In Conclusion
1./ We need to establish whether this will be a family event, or just drivers. I am up for either, or mixed.
2./ We can choose one itinerary, and I will develop it with stops at special attractions, organize the eating thing at either end (breakfast, lunch, you don't need to do both) and all permissions to trespass if we need to be on private property for anything.
Let me know what you would like to do. There is no more room for polling up above unfortunately. Best is to copy this post and highlight what you want to do, adding your own remarks.
In thinking the second option. Easter weekend is tight for most of us I think. The breakfast seems too fancy for us younger guys on the tight budget. I think it should be a mixed event!
Really I'm good with whatever so long as it's a Sunday.
However I agree many might be busy Easter Sunday as well.
But I like the idea of grabbing something to eat together hitting some trails/off-roading and some shoots.
And yeah it'd be cool if the list expanded. There's an Instagram called 'trucks of Ontario' they've had a few and easily get 35+ trucks a meet depending on weather. However this is a general truck meet and we only want Fords lol. Something tells me if he posted a ford only meet we'd see a lot of others trying to boycott the whole thing lol
