Simple, the 5.0 has less moving parts to break technically making it more reliable and has enough seat push back power for me.
And that there V8 Vroommm forces a smile whenever i get on it!. Yeah!

One would think after driving both you should know for yourself
Kinda like dating a girl and not know if she puts out until the 49th date

The weak point on Fords engines seems to be the timing chain and it's components starting with the 3v 5.4. These new engines aren't much better. Some speculation on my part!
I respectfully disagree.

New 18 5.0 owner here. Bought 1.5 weeks ago. Haven't really driven it yet. I test drove both and I liked the 5.0 better. Also seemed like a better 15-20 year purchase for me. One thing that irked me was the $2,000 upcharge to get the 5.0. How is the coyote more money to produce than the twin turbo v6?

It's only $1000 more than the 2.7eco on the build site. Money well spent, IMO.

Reasons I bought:
- Cheaper than the 3.5
- Easier to work on my self
- Great for hauling motorcycle and gear. I don't tow much
- LOVE the sound of a V8

I test drove both the EB and 5.0 and liked both. I would have been happy with either but I got an amazing deal on my current truck and it just happened to have a Coyote.

Did I mention that I love the sound of the V8 engine.
