Buy Ranger to get inventive?
Ford has a $1500 incentive right now for Ranger owners 1995 or newer. I don't see any restrictions on how long you have had to own it and says you do not have to be the original owner. I see a few junkers on CL for a couple Benjamin's..
Anyone have a idea if this world work?
Edit: Can't fix my phone error on the title.. Oh well, let's get inventive...

If the Ranger is titled I would think it might work. But, you may want to ask a dealer about the restrictions before you take that leap. The restriction may have a length of ownership clause stuck in there somewhere.
i checked with dealer and hey said titled and registered in your name. craigslist beater search for $500 piece
In January, the RANGER LOYALTY PROGRAM issued $2,000.....
Funny thing, its not really an advertised incentive, and I didn't even know about it until the dealer told me about it.
they knew I had a ranger though.
I does have to be in your name. Either registered in the FORD system or the title showing you are the owner. you don;t have to trade it, just own it.
Not sure of the time frame of how long you had to own it.
It surely was nice having an extra $2,000 rebate when I got my 2013 F150

Now this is my kind of thinking. I can't believe I didn't think about this. I used my old outdated registration from another state once to get a rebate. I had sold the vehicle about 8 years ago but they just told me they needed a piece of paper with my name on it so yeah got 2k off. This was for my wifes car, not the truck btw.

good thing they didn't ask to see it, eh?

may want to confirm the length of ownership before shelling out for a used beater.
Costco deal is like that, must be member for 6months, before you get the incentive. I knew that last year, so signed up knowing I was in market for truck, extra $1k off was nice.
Could have grab my old mans Ranger on 4 flats if that deal was running back in Dec.
