Question Brakes, what type?

I have a 2010 STX that currently has drilled rotors. I'm in the market for new brakes, and I plan to put them on myself (first time). Do I need to get the same type (drilled) rotors, or is it okay to get blank? (nearest auto stores only have blanks, I'd have to special order drilled/slotted)
I'm strictly a city/country back and forth to work driver with occasional highway driving. No off-road, no performance driving.
Thanks in advance,

Solid-faced rotors perform best.

For brake pads, I can highly recommend the Extreme by Powerstop pads. Excellent stopping ability!

Pretty cheap to have rotors turned. If they're drilled they must be aftermarket. Somebody's been there before, so be ready for unusual findings. You never know.
