I have 12k miles on my brand new 2013 f150 fx2. It's about a year and a half old and i am pissed that the rotors seemed warped already. I am anticipating a fight with for dealership about it being a wear item but frankly 12k miles and it warping is ridiculous.

Is this a common problem, any advice for having to deal with the dealership?

My truck is at the dealer today for the same reason, only 9900 miles. The tech pointed out very uneven wear on the front driver side rotor which could be attributing to the shutter.

My 2012 F150 with 9500 miles started to produce a slight shutter within the past week, thought maybe it was jus me thinking I felt something and then I read this, looks like I will be visiting my dealer this week.

Well, looks like they're replacing the front rotors and pads, covered under warranty. Hopefully the issue is resolved.
