Boxlink bolts

Boxlink bolts
I purchased an OEM set of Boxlink brackets and tie-downs. The bolts that came with the set don't seem to fit. Seems to be the proper diameter, but not thread. There seems to be a disproportionate amount of effort with this. Thoughts / suggestions? Thanks is advance.

Mine weren't easy either and I think the box isn't actually threaded and these bolts are instead self threading. See if you can see any threads in the hole or otherwise, I'm sure someone else will come in here and correct if I'm wrong. They are tough to go in though.

I read few reviews on the amazon machine about guys who bought the plate/bolt sets and complained that the bolt heads snapped or seized. I put some antiseize on the bolts when I ran them in under light power.

This freaked me out when I went to install my Swing Away boxes that use the BoxLink points. I don't have the BoxLink hardware, so the holes were unthreaded.
I followed the instructions and used the impact driver...let's hope I never have to take them out. I figured it was a sure recipe for aluminum-steel falling and they'd get stuck halfway and not thread anymore.
