I think that putting extra lights on your truck, as long as its done tastefully, is something that is truly timeless. It's been done for a really long time, and I'm sure will continue to be done. Of course some don't like more than what's already there, but ya gotta admit, lights can turn almost anyone's head. I've posted pics around here of my lights, and I'm not even close to being done. Id go with LEDs over incandescent, but holy man are they expensive... Plus I think old school just looks better, has a better glow....

Not a big fan of black on black on black. I am a HUGE fan of contrast. with the exception of chrome. Not a big fan of a lot of chrome with anything. I LOVE any color vehicle with black rims and accents, except black vehicles. Heres a few pics of my truck to show what Im talking about

How about the cen cal look? Personally I like it, but I'm willing to bet most everyone on this forum will dislike it. Here's some killer "cen cal" trucks.

^ Retarded....(cen cal)

I think chrome looks good on white trucks and black trucks, otherwise lol

I blacked mine out because black and dark green give it more of a military/utilitarian feel. Also, my rockers were getting beat to **** by rocks and the bedliner is doing a good job of protecting them lol

Do trucks come in other colors? I shudder at the implications.

Good lookin truck Buck. The pushed out wheels on the Cen Cal truck remind me of the old school poor man's drop kit (small wheels half outside the wheel wells).

I think too much chrome is a bad thing, but so is too much black.. I'm not really a fan of completely black rims. It's all a matter of personal taste anyways

They have ups too?

Here's what I see just in the different parts of Texas. In the cities you tend to see trucks which high lifts, 6"-12" lifts which can range from any make and model but is usually still half ton rated trucks. Texas hill country, you see a mix of everything from heavy duty bumpers (usually Ranch Hand or Frontier) to no lift, mild lift, or wild lift. Areas such as West Texas, the heavy duty bumpers are very common, usually less than 4" of lift, headache racks and other protection items. You can easily tell where the vehicle goes if you look at how the truck is accessorized.
