Just Google your part number, choose the site that offers lowest price & shipping. No need to be loyal to one site or the other....

My dealership parts department is very fair on their pricing! Oil filters are slightly over $6.00, air filter $14.00, a relay for my wife’s Escape was $12.00. I think if you’re a good customer they don’t mark stuff up much!

fordpartsgiant has very good pricing but they get you on the shipping and handling and based on my experience, often split the order from different locations. I recently used Rockauto for a failed order of shocks and struts that Summit Racing never could produce. If you buy from RockAuto, there is a post here with an updated code for a discount. They got me the shocks and struts cheaper and even during Christmas had them to me in less than a week.

Buyer beware about fake Ford parts being sold at great pricing. JMO

Beware of Rockauto as well. I use them for parts at times, but the problem is ZERO, and I mean ZERO customer support. Nobody to email, no phone # to call. Any issue is done online by filling out forms. You literally have no opportunity to ever talk to a person. I ordered a Motorcraft drag-link for my Superduty and they sent a Moog, the box was beat to crap and the link had used grease all over it. I had to take pictures, record markings on it and ship it back. I ended up getting the Motorcraft part 2 weeks later, but still, it was a hassle.

I called my local dealer for a couple of items... gave them the part #s. They quoted some outrageous retail pricing.
So I went through a wholesale website
https://www.fordpartsgiant.com/

They give you the option to pickup the parts at your local dealer. Then my parts got lost or put on a shelf. I followed up
with a few emails and they were found. When I showed up at the counter... I asked if I could get jobber pricing. Gave them my resale info...
now they beat everyone online.

I have called my local dealer before, got a price, told them the online price and they got very close to it (when I had to figure in shipping) so yes, that's always possibility. There is another large dealer about 75 miles away, that many of the smaller dealers source their parts from. I learned that from a local body shop. I have never called them for pricing, but for 3 hours of driving, it may not hurt.....

How do you get the option to pick up at local dealer from FPG? That would be awesome, did it eliminate their shipping and handling fees?

+1 for searching the part number and buying from the cheapest vender. I have even found dealers selling parts cheaper on Ebay then their own sites.
