Default Best place to purchase OEM parts

Good Evening,

Happy New Year! Well I upgraded my truck to a 2016 F150 SCREW 4x4 5.0 King Ranch.

I need to purchase several parts for the 'new to me' truck. Always prefer to go OEM but sometime upgrades are better. These purchases are to fix known concerns such as heat'cool seats module, etc.

With all the folks on here would like to shop a place that is good to this site. So I am looking for recommendations.

Thanks in advance,

Rick

For OEM parts, best place I have found is https://www.tascaparts.com

they have exploded diagrams with part numbers and it’s usually pretty easy to find what you are looking for. The only issue I’ve had is I’ve gone all the way through the purchase process only to receive an email after it’s done stating the part is on back order or out of stock, and “we’ll send an email when it ships”. It’s a gamble. I have waited it out and it has been quick, and I’ve had to cancel an order, but typically for newer vehicles they’re pretty good about keeping items in stock.

Tasaca's shipping rates are ridiculous. Most of the time the money saved on parts is a wash after the shipping costs are added.

It seems to depend on where you live with Tasca. Every time I've checked them I get outrageous shipping quotes like more than $100 for some small, cheap part. Others here have the opposite.

For me I just look at what is the total cost after shipping before I buy it. So at this time I don't really have a specific place. I've bought from dealers who ship and Ford Parts Giant.

Some have really stupid shipping rates. When I was looking for the nut clips for the metal trans cover install, I was seeing the part for like $3 or $4 dollars with like $20 something shipping charges for a couple of clips. LOL.

I like to do a dealer search. I also call my local dealers. Price and convenience is considered and make a decision from there.

Interesting about the shipping. I guess I've never paid attention. I just went back and looked at every order I've placed with them and shipping ranged from $10 to $20, with the exception of one item I paid extra for overnight. It might be worth it to do a price comparison vs picking the part up at the dealer, especially if it is a cheap part that is in stock locally. Most of the time, for me, it is worth the convenience of not having to drive in Houston traffic to a dealership and from my personal experience the total with shipping included was less than what I would have paid locally.

I'll definitely have to pay more attention in the future.

I'll vouch for Tascaparts. Have ordered from there several times, in fact I just ordered some more parts from them last week.

S&H charge was very reasonable, ignore all the unhelpful posts from users who just want to complain and not offer a better alternative.

Levittown Ford or White Bear Lake outside of Varsity Ford. I have made purchases from all three in the past.
