Need a tool-set I can keep in my truck or bring out and about when I need it. I hate picking and choosing out of my garage set and then getting out there and not having what I need.

I have a HD, Lowes and a Harbor Freight in my area.

So, any recommendations for all-in-one sets that I can easily transport? A few I found..

Lowes has a good one for under $50 I think. Brand changed to Blue Hawk recently I guess. Pretty comprehensive and good enough to use in a jam. Have one in both our vehicles

I have this in the back of my car along with a set of 6 point metric deep well sockets 1/2"

For the price this is a great kit, I have thousands an thousands of dollars of tools in my shop but I still love this kit for taking in the truck, pretty nice ratchets too

What do you plan to use them on? What works on each job depends on the machine.

We can throw out generic crap all day and still not answer your question.
