All the vents!!
Okay so question that hopefully someone knows the answer to! This is my second ford to do this! All of my vents blow air wether I select A/C, defrost, or floor they all blow air together. I have heard there is a diode that needs to be replaced? Is this true? Any ideas on how to fix this?

I'm willing to bet its something to do with the door...or flap... Or whatever these trucks have...
Since my truck has had about 25k miles on it ... Its made a squeeking noise when it changed vents sometimes.... I should have taken it back to ford and let them fix it.... But i didn't lol

Could also be a vacuum leak. My F-250 used to do this after I accidentally unhooked my heater core vacuum line. If your truck is a 4x4 and the hubs are vacuum operated thats where I would start looking.

I honestly dont know how they work...I just know that when that vacuum line came unhooked all my vents blew air. Same with the ESOF 4x4 system. When the lines at the hubs degraded and leaked vents would all blow air.
Just something to look at.

0.9% is for suckers!
Doesn't do it in the SuperDuties that I have ever noticed, but it is all the time in the Raptor and the 2012 F150. So it's F150 specific from what I can tell. I can never get the ac to stop blowing on my feet. 200 degrees outside and my feet freeze over. I just taped up the driver floor vent, seems to work for now until I bother with taking it in.
There was always talk about it but I'm not sure if there was a fix. It sucks for sure when the ac freezes ur feet.
