I want to purchase a BakFlip folding tonneau cover, I had thought to purchase the F1, but can you tell me about your experiences with the VP, G2, HD? I do not believe that I will be folding my cover very often, but I was concerned about the VP covering, does the vinyl covering tend to crack after a couple of years or due to temperature extremes? I could really use some recommendations!!!

Thanks for the reply. My truck is stock, so it has the couple-inch rake in the rear. The leaking along the sides concerns me because my truck came with the OEM drop-in liner. I minor leak is not a problem, just as long as it doesn't leak like a sieve.
It comes with drain tubes you can run through ur bed between ur cab but i just tucked mine be-hide the bed-liner, so when i drive it runs out. The issue I have is my drive way is up hill and my truck sits up in the back so my bed is pretty much even in my driveway and the water sits on the topper sneaking through the drain rails cause it has no pitch to drain. As long as my tools aren't in the side pockets everything stays dry. Thing I love is its low profile and if I need all 5.5ft of my bed it comes off and fits in my rear floor board

Thanks for the update. There is a thread showing how to route the tubes for those of us with drop-in liners, I'll follow their instructions once I make my purchase. Still wanting to know which Bakflip to purchase/avoid.
Don't have the Bak Flip but I do have a Bak Roll-x and love it, it lets me retain all cargo space and does not block the rear view like the Flip's do.
Have had it for over a year now with no ill effects from the elements and as far as being water tight, it does allow a very minute amount (dribble) at the bulk head and T-gate ends under high pressure or heavy rain storm, not enough to worry about as it just dribbles down and out, cargo remains dry unless shoved up right against either end.
Couple pics follow:
Very low profile..

Full use of cargo space.

Rolls up and held in place so it does not bump cab and cause wear as well as leaving your rear view intact.

Completely satisfied over all.

Nice! I hadn't researched the cover that you have, but I sure would consider it. I do like that it doesn't block the rear window. Thanks for participating in my thread.

Bought my VP cover this past March and so far so good. Small leak around tailgate step and that's about it. No trouble with the vinyl yet but only time will tell. Very Pleased so far!

Bak offers plenty of choices, the F1 stood out to me, but the VP looked good as well. The Peragon cover drops into the bed, but what happens when the bed is full? Too many choices...UGH!
