Bad experience with Stage3motorsports
So I bought a 2016 2.7 MBRP exhaust for my truck on black Black Friday from Stage3motorsports. Well they shipped me a 2011-14 5.0 exhaust. Now they are telling me I have to ship the part back at my expense. So basically all the “savings” from ordering on Black Friday are gonna be used to pay shipping. At least Ebay or amazon will make the seller pay shipping. Anyone else have a horrible expletive with Dtage 3????
It’s kinda weird because I went through like 6 menus to make sure it was the correct part.

1.) did they send you what you ordered and it was wrong for your vehicle
or
2.) did they send you a different part from what you ordered?

If they sent you a different part from what is clearly on your order, I would ask for a manager and send him a picture. I too would not expect to have to pay return shipping on a part they sent that was not what you ordered.

If they sent you something different than what is stated on your order, I'd speak to a manager. In the event they had a shipping error and say you have to pay for it.....and you can't get anywhere with the manager......I'd dispute the charge on my credit card and then tell them that they will have to pay for shipping to get it back. I wouldn't pay for shipping if they were at fault.
If you accidentally ordered the wrong part, you should pay for shipping.

Not one of my preferred vendors by any means.........Your credit card company can help you since they sent you the wrong item. FYI you picking up the tab for their mistake is BS !! Buyer beware when they start that kind of crap........

F. That. I'd be on the phone with the manager and if I couldn't get anywhere, my CC company. One of the reasons I like paying with Paypal when given the chance. Easy to dispute item not as described.

What does your confirmation email say? What does your invoice (in the box) say?
Bottomline: if you ordered something for a 16 and they shipped you something for a 14 then they are liable. They did not fulfill their part of the contract (a transaction is technically a contract but won't get technical here) so they are still bound to correct the error at their expense, unless you decide to cancel overall since they did not satisfy the original contract within a reasonable time period.
Make damn sure your order confirmation and invoice slip agrees. Your confirmation prevails. I hope you have an email of that.

I work for a shipping company so I'm kinda **** about things like that. Especially since a recent Amazon order did NOT match what I ordered. One shipment went back. The other I kept; it was an HSGI Slimgrip padded belt. I ordered coyote tan. The order was fulfilled by Amazon and they were either colorblind or didn't care. Multicam arrived. It still serves my purpose.
