Ok I’m glad everyone sees my point of view. I thought I was maybe out of line but I feel like I’m 100% right. I can see if I ordered the wrong part then I’ll pay for return shipping. But not when they ship the wrong part. Thanks everyone for giving your input.

Mike since they screwed up they could give you a return shipper tag that would allow you to return it. FYI

Well, I almost pulled the trigger with them for a Black Friday deal! I think, maybe, I'm glad I didn't now. That's a load of crap!! You would think that as many people who make sales through this forum, they would make it right. It's just good business! It's too bad! They just lost a ton of sales now! Not good business! Hope they get it right for you!

Don't see why you're playing this out here when you have more to go with them. Their return policy clearly states that they would pay for return shipping in this case (shipped the wrong part), simply state that back to them with a copy of the invoice showing you ordered X but you rec'd Y (show proof you rec'd Y). If they say no, then simply contact your credit card company, which in fact may have a "Return Protection" benefit (vs. a chargeback req'd).

I would send them a PM via this forum - https://www.f150forum.com/private.php?do=newpm&u=142781

Give them the proof, then until end of day Tuesday to resolve before you go to your credit card company.

He's playing it out on here because they already told him he'd have to pay to reship the part back when old dogs know they could easily issue a reshipper authorization. Contrary to what their site says they already knew they shipped him the wrong part. SO WHY DIDN'T THEY ISSUE THE AUTHORIZATION RIGHT THEN or at least tell him they'd cover shipping? He was looking for help trying to see what his options are and got some good information from some of us (you included) but the one little nugget that clearly shines bright is that some of us don't use them because of things like this in the past.

I agree with Skeets, according to their website this is what they state:

"Return Shipping:
If you simply do not want or do not need a product that you've ordered, you will be responsible for return shipping. Stage 3 will handle return shipping charges for items that have been mis-shipped, damaged in shipping, or if you've been shipped the incorrect part. For returns in which we issue a return label or call tag, your return label is only valid for 30 days. After the return label expires at the end of that 30-day period, you will be responsible for return shipping. Carefully pack your returned part(s) in the original packaging." (Bold added)

I would definitely talk to a Supervisor there and find out why they are not honoring their Return Shipping policy since it specifically states they will pay for return shipping if an incorrect part was sent. Hope you get this resolved okay.

I was about to place a $200 order with Stage3 for some Morimoto fog lights for my 18 Lariat but I am going to wait now and see how this plays out. Hope the OP keeps us informed with the result of how Stage 3 finally handles this. If he indeed ordered the correct part for his truck and they inadvertently shipped the wrong part and won't pay for return shipping then I will order from another co.

My orders with Stage3 have been fine except my AAL was missing bolts. But they processed a claim with ProComp and I got them without any cost to me except a few minutes to snap pictures and email them. The missing bolts wasn't even Stage3's fault.

One thread with only the OP's side of the story isn't going to sway me from future purchases.

I’ve ordered several times from Stage3 and haven’t had any issues, in fact for free shipping everything shows up super fast. The only problem I’m having now is I ordered some parts I’m having issues with. I can not get anyone to answer an email or a phone call to discuss warranty.
