Default Back up lights

OK, so the b/u lights on my 2017 Lariat with BLIS are POS.....they might tell the guy behind me hat I'm backing up but they aren't worth a damn looking thru my backup camera. So who makes a good add-on b/u light attachment for $100-$125?? Either bolt up under frame or around factory trailer hitch?

There are more options than you can shake a stick at. I don’t normally tell people to use the search.....but there are so many threads on here with so many good ideas.....use the search. That’s probably the first time I’ve suggested that.

I have the same reverse lights. They suck. I added a set of LEDs in the back betweeen my bumper and tailgate.

You’ll also get more year specific responses if you post your question in the 2015 - Present section.

The reverse lights on any vehicle are meant to be signal lights only, they are not meant nor designed to act as reverse headlights.

I know what you are saying.....but once you get out of the city and have to back down a narrow dirt driveway....you need reverse headlights. That’s why I installed a dedicated switch for mine. In town, they are not needed. Away from town, they are very useful.

Beyond that, my 2017 with Bliss has the worst reverse lights I’ve ever had in a vehicle. I think the reverse camera is partially to blame. Either way, in these trucks, some extra light can be very helpful at times.

I used KC Highlights Flex Lights. They are around the $200 range but come with wiring and switch if needed. A little patience on EBay and you can get a good deal.

EBay's best offer function is your friend if you have patience. I got a good deal on these, $170.

just a heads-up....it looks like you removed the F-150 emblem from your tailgate. So, in case you didn’t know....the little radar/sonar picture (for the Bliss) on your taillights is just a sticker and it peels right off.
