Just wanted to update this for prosperity. Just over a year later and I'm so glad I got an extended warranty. It has paid for itself in a year! First issues were a defective window switch, torsion bar in the tailgate, leaky 3rd brake light (not warranty but they still just did it), lower T-Joint coolant leak, new Coolant reservoir, new A/C compressor. There were other associated parts that I can't remember lol.

As for updates to the truck, so far:

Replaced chrome badges with all black
Added AVS low profile vent visors
Added trifold tonneau cover
Added Weathertech Front mats
Added AVS hood deflector
Replaced interior and licence lights with LED
Replaced OEM Fogs with Black LED ones
Added 30" light bar behind the grille
Added AMP Bedstep
Swapped OEM FX4 bed decals for matte black ones

aaaand...no pics because she's filthy.

Nice. I also have a '13 FX4 that I bought 2 years (and 3 days ago to be exact) It has some misfires after I bought it and they replaced the coils under warranty, and besides a sticky caliper when I first bought the truck, I don't think I've put a single dollar into the truck other than regular maintenance/mods/stuff I broke. 33k miles later of some pretty hard driving and the truck has been amazing. I actually had a problem with my torsion bar in my tailgate too (would make a horrible noise when opening) and I ended up just loosening it or something like that and then tightening it and it's been fine since. They really are great trucks, I don't have any desire to go to a new truck (nor do I have the money, but still).

I had started another thread about issues I'd been having but might as well consolidate into this thread. Sounds like a rattling tin can full of nails during regular acceleration. It was EXTREMELY present when I was pulling my travel trailer. I believe its the 4WD actuator. Not sure if its the vacuum solenoid or the actual actuator(s). I would assume that the noise is the actuator grinding to dust so regardless the replacement of both would be needed. Thank god for extended warranty. Also, thanks to the snow storm I've noticed a small puddle of green liquid. Believe this would be from the A/C. This has been a hard Winter on my truck lol.

Sounds like coolant to me. Refrigerant is a gas at atmospheric pressure and temps, and will not puddle up on the ground, It is also colorless

the coolant in these trucks is reddish. Seems as though the fluid in the ac system is green. I may be referring to it wrong but it’s definitely not the coolant.
