your best bet is to have them claim it on their insurance and then pay you the FULL RETAIL value of one of those raptor wheels from Ford (which is super-expensive). Then you get the check and buy one for cheap off ebay and pocket the remainder of the "settlement".

So.. the local shop took a look at my truck after work today. Offered me 2 options... Money off what I just spent, or a brand new wheel.
Should have a new wheel within a week or two

Good for,you and good for them for making it right. Just know that they will take your old wheel as salvage and refurb and sell it....
