When I worked at NTB the tire changers never bothered to read the directions, or maybe they couldn't read

your best bet is to have them claim it on their insurance and then pay you the FULL RETAIL value of one of those raptor wheels from Ford (which is super-expensive). Then you get the check and buy one for cheap off ebay and pocket the remainder of the "settlement".

and yes, that is most definitely a screwdriver mark, no two ways about it.

I had a similar issue with NTB a year or so ago on a wheel on my FX4. They ended up replacing the wheel, but only after I made a complaint to their HQ.

So.. the local shop took a look at my truck after work today. Offered me 2 options... Money off what I just spent, or a brand new wheel.

Should have a new wheel within a week or two

I guess I was ranting for nothing..

Good for,you and good for them for making it right. Just know that they will take your old wheel as salvage and refurb and sell it....

Oh, and I'm 100% ok with that. It's only fair since they're buying a replacement.
