Your maximum rating by the brochure is 9000 lbs. But, you are missing a lot of components from the towing package.
You have a 4-Pin wiring harness & added a trailer brake controller,
You are missing the following components:
1. Hitch Receiver
2. Higher-Power Cooling Fans
3. Radiator Upgrade
4. Smart Trailer Tow Connector
5. Upgraded Front Stabilizer Bar
Your truck is limited to 5000 lbs. trailer weight without the towing package (i.e., Items 1-5) per the 2019 towing guide. As mentioned by others, what is the payload rating on your yellow door sticker?
Great points.
If he does not have the cooling upgrades and sway bar, take the truck back. The salesman lied.

I worry about the talk of exchanging your 2019 for a different model. Your loan is probably tied to the VIN and would need to be rejiggered with a different vehicle. I don't know if states will refund sales tax and chances are the exchange truck's bill of sale will reflect it's sale price, not a discounted sales price. I sympathize with your situation and hope it works out ok in the end.
You mention a 4-pin to 7-pin adaptor. Those work great for getting the lights to work, but 4-pins do not have the capability of trailer brakes. A trailer of that size will definitely have brakes on it. You will need a trailer brake controller (OEM of nothing IMO for these trucks), the wiring harness that plugs in above the spare tire and runs to the receptacle, and a 7-pin receptacle. You would then need to enable the trailer brake controller using FORScan or take it to a Ford dealer and have them do it.
As others have mentioned, you need to pay close attention to the payload sticker in your door jam and go from there. I purchased an XL without a hitch or tow package of any kind and have 1,925 of payload. I am pretty sure Ford stopped adding oil and tranny coolers with the tow packages as they already have them. I added a class IV hitch and brake controller and am good to go. I also put Timbren helper bags to prevent squat. At some point I would like to add a rear sway bar, but I will never tow more that 5K.
Go back to the dealer and have them refund the cost of the hitch and hookups. Then go find yourself a good independent trailer business that also specializes in trailer hitches and truck accessories. Every medium size and larger city has them.
They can fix you up with the proper hitch and wiring. As far as I know, there is a hookup already under the dash for a trailer controller and there should be one on the rear trailer frame to hook a ready made harness to that might be 3' or so long. It's all plug in stuff.
Then you should be good to go. Sounds as if you'll not be moving your trailer very often anyway.
(I took delivery of my fifth wheel 5 years ago, and it's never been moved out of my campground. They put it on a campsite for me even.)
This is the route I would take, especially since it doesn't sound like you will be towing often.
Well, I tend to trust the information listed in Ford's towing guidebook over a random comment.
The information I listed is cut and pasted from the 2019 F150 brochure. You can download and read page 6 yourself. The OP stated he does not have a receiver so F150 (Std) is his configuration from the table.
On the right-hand side, you will also read " Required Equipment Includes items that must be installed.* Your New Vehicle Limited Warranty (see your dealer for a copy) may be voided if you tow without them. For trailers over 5,000 pounds – Trailer Tow Package or Max Trailer Tow Package.
The OP does not have a towing package.

Yes, but the OP's truck has the 5.0. 3.5 and 5.0 trucks are rated to tow 7,000 lbs on the hitch without any additional tow packages. Had his truck been equipped with the smaller engines, then you would be correct @ 5,000 lbs.
For reference, my older (previous gen) 5.0 with 3.73 gears, has zero issues towing a little over 5000lbs or around 1800 miles, up hill and down dale. If you're only moving your TT to the living destination, your towing experience shouldn't be too bad, but if you're regularly travelling, think harder.
It does, however, have a tow package on it, BUT, the towbar still has this sticker on it, stating that max tow weight is 5000lbs unless using a WDH.
UPDATE: NEW PROBLEM PLEASE HELP
The dealer had a curt class 4 hitch installed onto the truck and I still have to go and get the wiring harness for the 7 pin adapter from the ford store but I now have a new problem.
My taillights stopped working about 2 days after getting the hitch installed and I have still not had the 7 pin adapter installed. My trucks turn signal clicker started clicking at 2-3 times the normal rate and I found out my brake lights, reverse lights, and running lights are not working. I tried inspecting the bulbs and looked at the wiring harness to see if thins are plugged in and it al seems good to me. I am out of ideas and am wondering if anyone here could offer advice here?
