Default Audio Help

Just bought my first F150 this past weekend! Sadly it only took 3 days to realize the factory-standard Sony sound system is pretty pathetic. Can anyone offer some guidance on the ability of the stock Sony 700 watt amp to support a 10 - 12" subwoofer? If not what are some opinions on brands/power of both amps and subs for purchase?

Looking to get some bump in my trunk but nothing ridiculous.
