@Lenn
haha we are on the opposite ends of the spectrum yours sat for 5 minutes and mine for over and hour. Maybe there is a right time to do do it but it kind of makes me think it's a hoax. The funny thing is the next morning when i fired it up there was just a little bit of smoke i was just like what?

@1badlx
wow I guess this issue does get pretty serious. I figure it'll be at least 2grand at the dealership. Glad to hear there is a definite difference. what was your mpg economy before the replacement?

@Iluvmydux
if you have a 04-08 truck I'll take a picture for you. Just tell us what year

I did it to my '87 F150. The engine came from a well maintained fleet van and I wasn't impressed with the amount of smoke from the tailpipe. Barely anything at all but it may have been pretty clean inside. I added to the oil also and the oil pressure is higher though so I think it worked well.

I did it to my '86 Blazer with a pretty well worn engine and had really thick nasty smoke pouring from the truck. Also added to the oil but no noticeable change on the oil pressure gauge. I can't remember if I changed the oil since I added it.

^^ I did it at night and couldn't see any smoke. I was just waiting to "feel" the difference it made. But it sounds like my issues have deeper roots than just gunk. I added it to the oil as well but made the switch to synthetic not but a few days later. maybe it helped some but I didn't get the feeling I'd ever need to purchase this product again

I didn't notice any difference in power but the truck always has a trailer hooked to it and the Blazer was having carburetor problems at the time.

Yeah we were trying to get a little outboard running the other day and it seemed to help but the carb was so varnished that it was a lost cause. I think it can be handy in some situations, it's just not what my truck needs. I was hoping for some sort of mythical miracle in a bottle that I already knew couldn't exist.

Here is a close up of the brake booster and the hose that you simply pull out while the truck is idling and pour the seafoam in, you will need a funnel or some mad pouring skills. Just pull that black looking know connected to the hose out and you have the vacuum line ready
