Default Any One Had These Issues

Have a 08 F150 Limited
First issue is I have a cracked front driver side spring.

Passenger has a hairline crack in it but that's about it.

Next issue is the a charging issue. Car is year old alternator on it and sometimes it will throw a charging light. Usually stays on for a second and that's it.
Had the battery checked and the alternator and they were both ok months ago. Now, the battery is reading low.

Is the alternator motorcraft or a cheaper parts store brand? I've had batteries test good and be on there way out. How old is the battery? There relatively cheap compared to a shop fee. If it's older it would be a good place to start especially with winter months on there way.

At 7 years old, the battery is 2 years past its expected service life, time for a new one.

The cracked/broken springs in the front end on these trucks are a common issue. Monroe quick strut replacement and be done with it.

Ok so it is a common issue then. Cause I was about to get pissed. Thinking about lowering the truck a couple of inches but idk. I plan to get the battery out of the truck but that light was going on when both battery and alternator where testing ok. Regardless I know it needs a battery but I was trying to fix the light also.

HINT/TIP: You'll find posting in the
