Hi,
I am looking at a used 2008 F150. I would prefer it to have towing mirrors for towing a trailer and a camper that I already own. Can the towing mirrors be installed on this truck.
I am being told by two different dealerships that they cannot be, but i cant help but think there must be a way of doing so. The existing mirrors are nothing fancy in terms of turning signals.

can someone confirm for me....

Yes they can!

Mines an 05, same thing.

Yes you can tons and tons of people changed there regular mirrors for tow mirrors.

I also have a 2008 King cab and replaced mine with TOW mirrors. Everything is there and its a simple plug and play job. The only wiring that was not on mine was the HEAT. If the current truck has a heated back glass the wiring should be there for that, mine did not but everything else worked just fine. Don't let the dealership BS you, they told me the same thing.

I agree....i thought it was BS, but when the second one told me the same thing, I thought I must be missing something. i thought a dealership would to the opposite,... tell you yes, so they could then sell you a pair of mirrors!
