Default Another SILLY Question

My previous car(s) all had the wheel lock key placed in the glovebox by the dealer. This being my first truck, I panicked when, in my glovebox, all I saw was my manual and some other stuff that wasn't this key. The truck is an FX4 with the appearance package 20-inch black painted wheels. Is there a key or something I need for these wheels? If so, where would it be? Sorry guys... don't know nothing about wheel locks or lug nuts or anything like that

If there is such a key, when would I or the dealer service dept need it? When patching a flat? When rotating?

Thanks again!

look at your lug nuts, if one of them is round with a line on the outer edge then you need a key. look with the jack and lug wrench under the seat.

I checked and all I see are identical, chrome nuts. None of the wheels have one nut that is different. So does this mean I don't need the key? Just the tools located under the back seat?

Sorry guys, just gotta know if I have to go to my dealer and ask where the wheel nut keys are or if I don't even need them! I'm guessing mine didn't come with locks since all the nuts look the same??

You can always bust the nut off, or there is a specific wrench for taking them off aswell.

Your truck didn't come with wheel lug locks, which are just a pain in the *** anyway unless you live in the hood. I'm fairly comfortable no self respecting thief is going out of his way to steal my Ford chrome clad rims.

Yup, sounds like you have regular old lug nuts. Just whatever size lug wrench fits, nothing tricky.
