Default Opinions on Price?

Hello all,

I have been considering a pickup for years, and have finally decided to go for it here recently. Just got back from the local dealer who offered the pricing below. I'd like to know what any recent buyers/seasoned F150 owners think of this deal. I plan to purchase very soon, and greatly value community knowledge on this. Thanks for reading, I look forward to participating here!

3.73 and locking diff is a major selling point to me and the wheel well liners cut down on allot of noise from rocks being picked up so the second 5.0 would be my choice. The pricing seems fair in canada(i paid 38k for my 14 sc xlt 4x4 5.0 3.73 with locker) not so sure on us pricing

They are right in the ball park. I also suggest the Super Cab, but for the extra space that you will appreciate. Along with those nifty back up sensors that will you will find very useful. Good luck, and welcome to the forum.

I too would go with the supercab. Will be easier to sell down the road if you choose too. The extra space is worth the extra $

Thanks for the input guys. Everyone is going for the supercab so far, which I guess is the new normal now. I think regular cabs will eventually phase out, but I still like them a lot...and the F150 regular cab actually has some usable space behind the seat unlike most. Plus - it's sunset metallic...which is a great color.

The supercab seems the logical choice...yet I'm still on the fence here. Ugh.

I have a 2013 STX rcab 4X4 5.0. Works fine for me. Unless you are hauling a family a rcab is all you need and it costs less. Besides the 5.0 is a lot more fun. There is just my wife and I and there is plenty of room behind the seats for luggage. She has a Merc Mariner to haul grandkids. I plan to drive mine till my kids take the keys away from me. Not worried about a trade in.

It is a difficult decision. If the Reg. Cab suits you, and it's saying "buy me, buy me", then that's the one you should get. As I always do, let your gut be your guide.

And you're right. Sunset Met. is a great color.

Well, I plan to go to the dealership tomorrow unless something drastic changes my mind. Guess I'll flip a coin!
