Another boxlink question.

Does anyone know of an aftermarket supplier that makes a solid plate with a D ring or similar attachment point that can be attached to the boxlink locations in the truck bed?
Also, I understand that the holes are not tapped but what is the size and thread pitch of the screws used for the factory boxlink? Thanks in advance.

Another BoxLink Question

The BoxLink screws are a self tapping type of screw. They do thread in quite easily though. I was trying to find a way around buying the Ford or similar items. I shopped around and found the two different parts from separate vendors. My overall cost was well below the best Ford price that I found. Be patient and shop! Ugly truth....I'll probably never use them, but just in case!

6x25 metric....

6x25 metric....you're going to need to tap the holes or the screws...bolts will snap.

Edit
Even self tapping bolts will snap....been there done that

Get the plates on Amazon. Several sellers have them and they come with self-tapping screws. Also some the e-track stuff fits into the plates. It's a bit loose but it fits on there.

The self tappers won't snap if you use an impact and a bit of anti-seize.

Garan,
Buy factory plates and the get ringed inserts from one of the many online aftermarket suppliers. Stay away from Northern Tool as their inserts did not fit the factory plates when I tried them. If you just bolt on a plate with a ring you will have to listen to it rattle when not in use.

Good point that I had not thought about. Thanks for the suggestion.

Does anyone have a list of all the attachments than can attach to the Box-link plate.

Garan,
I had to go searching to refresh my memory and it eventually came back. Any company that makes E-track cleats will have whatever you want for your box link. I have 4 cleats with swivel rings for the box link and then the 4 low fixed factory cleats in my bed. With these 8 cleats I have been able to tie everything down that I’ve thrown in my 2017 bed.
