I find that annoying too. When I'm needing to go through 3 pastures to get where I want to go and have to get out and open a gate at the end of each one it's annoying to buckle up then unbuckle open/close a gate. 1. I'll never see another vehicle in pasture. 2. With the rough road the seat belt tends to lock and never let go so it's continuously getting tighter as you go through the pasture at 3 mph.
Any true road I'm buckled up on.

I like how every time this gets asked everyone just jumps on the "Why don't you buckle up?" "You're an idiot." band wagon.
There are plenty of reasons for not buckling up in a truck. Just the nature of a work vehicle, you tend to be in and out a lot while working with it.
Just because someone wants to disable the alarm does not mean they do not buckle up when the situation requires it.
