If you feel that you want to upgrade from Motorcraft oil to a full synthetic, you might try this.
Go with Mobil 1 synthetic. I figure if it is good enough for a Vette and Porsche and a bunch of other OEM cars, it should be pretty good.
And the best news? You can buy it at any Walmart for about $25 for a 5 quart jug, and I also get it at Costco when they have a sale.

t’s a fact: More than 35 models roll off the factory lines with Mobil 1™ motor oil inside. Today’s engines are designed to achieve an optimal balance of power, fuel economy and emissions. How can you get the most out of your vehicle? The motor oil you choose matters. Mobil 1 advanced synthetic motor oil offers a uniquely balanced formulation that’s a perfect match, helping vehicle owners enjoy outstanding levels of performance and protection. That’s why many car manufacturers recommend Mobil 1 motor oils. They go hand in hand. Amsoil IS NOT AN OIL COMPANY! They buy base stock from REAL OIL COMPANIES. They are a mixer, and packager company. The mix additives to the base stock, and package it in bottles. Amsoil HAS NO EQUIPMENT used in the petroleum for testing, or process control.

I've been an Amsoil product user for several years. Not necessarily because it's a superior product. I started using Amsoil back in my early days of motorcycle riding. The early years of full synthetic found a lot of motorcycle enthusiast with overheating issues which wasn't only attributed to engine oils. The advent of full synthetic oils came about only as an enhancement to better engineering. Amsoil is a fine product but the average user would not tell the difference during any normal maintenance period than they would using the factory recommended oil. It only a personal choice and only an engine oil engineering expert could explain the differences, pro and con.
