Most people join this forum to ask a question, not search through the convoluted mess that is this sites' search function lol
If it were more user friendly and better advertised, more would probably use it

That's what I use if I'm looking for something. I don't use the website search function. I'll search the internet and nine times outta ten it'll direct you to a ford forum. Then again, maybe people prefer to have a dialogue with others to get their answers, which is the entire reason for this forum to exist
