Hello everyone,
My radio has had some issues it would make a crackling sound turn off for a few minutes then come back on. Last week it stopped work all together, the clock will come on if I push the button, but then goes off and the radio will not work at all. This is on a 2012 F150 FX4

You have to replace the radio. Had the exact same thing happen, exact same symptoms, on my 2012. I've been around vehicles for 4 decades and my 2012 is the first time I've ever had, or heard of, a radio just taking a dump. Tells you the quality of Ford parts.

 

Hi, Thank you for the reply, it was the damnest thing I have never seen a radio do that either, having a new one installed in 2 weeks
