Talking Aluminum Hood
I just found that my hood on my 2014 SCAB is aluminum ! Did the magnet test. I knew that it felt very lightweight. I guess all the '14 trucks have the aluminum hood.

Yup even my 06 had an aluminum hood before I swapped it.

I'm not sure if the 97-03 models do as well.

the '04-'14s have aluminum hoods. '03 and back are steel, of course the new ones coming out are all aluminum bodies

The aluminum hoods started back with the 10th gens (97-03).

This^ 97- current have aluminum hoods. Co workers 99 has an aluminum hood. Many vehicles have aluminum hoods.
