Default Airbag light confusion

hey guys, just thought I’d create an account and ask the question I’ve been researching for a few days now.

I got a 2012 3.5 eco xlt. A few days ago, I got home from hunting, parked my truck, and had no issues. The next morning woke up and got in my truck, and my airbag light had come on. It doesn’t flash a code, it’s solid. When I turn the key into the on position is stays on for 6 seconds, goes off, then comes back on solid.

Im a little confused as to what could be going on. Checked fuse 36( I believe) by the door, and the fuse was good. Right now I’m unplugged the battery to see if a reset would work. Does anyone have any other ideas on the issue? Everything I read was there was a code flashing, but nothing like what I got going on. I don’t really want to take it to the dealer, due to prior issues. I checked under my seat and all connections seemed to be fine.

thanks!!

Does it stay on when the truck is running?

So I had it read this morning, and the codes I got were these

b0091-93, b0097-81.... it was interesting because once finished up I went outside and from just having my door open for a few minuets it killed my battery. Would a bad battery be causing my truck to throw some of these codes?

Any chance you bottomed out or climbed over a stump or something like that? I ask because that 1st code winds up directing a tech thru a series of pinpoint tests. Could also have snagged the wiring .

B0091:93 Left Side Restraints Sensor 1: No Operation

The 2nd code does not, it says to replace the passenger 2nd row side impact sensor with no pinpoint tests.

B0097:81 Right Side Restraints Sensor 2: Invalid Serial Data Received

Oh and having a weak or bad battery can cause all sorts of electrical gremlins to appear.
.
