*Air/Train Horns*- Anybody Got One on their Truck??
#11
if you want to go with a train horn, you're gonna need something to push a lotttttt of air to it. and they are indeed loud (i hear one everyday, as i work on a train) i'm sure it would be loud on a truck, but i don't think you're gonna find any way to make it as loud as it is on an actual train.

www.trainhorns.net you can hear all the train sounds you want. I went cheap and bought the electric one, still loud though.

i bought them from a different seller though, mine dont sound as deep but are still super loud and obnoxious, also dont mount them on the roof either, one, i think they look stupid, two, its all about the element of surprise, and three, the chrome pitted and flaked, good thing they are behind the front bumper

i have a set of air horns from some semi on my truck, around 150 db. have a compressor wired in a and a tank hidden in the back compartment of my screw. i used a solenoid valve and hooked it straight up to the horn button on my steering wheel
