Not a wrecked totaled truck that the air bags went off on. But here on the coast you would get a salt water damage vehicle. Doesn't mean the vehicle was totally submerged. Could of been only 3 feet of salt water totals a truck. Water barely covering the floor boards.

Love my katzkins, one of the best mods you can do IMO. My dogs have never poked holes in the seats with their nails.

I had the dealer add leather to the entire truck for $1k. It is a very thick black leather (Roadwire). It made a HUGE difference to me in the overall quality.

Just added Katzkins 2 weeks ago and very glad I did. I sold my cloth back to the dealer to recoup on the seat install. Got the seats off of Amazon for $550, $600 for install less $150 returned so around 1K. I have talked to multiple people that had the dealer install and finance for around 1k also.

From what a lot of dealers, and Katzkin dealers have told me, most leather that the dealers have installed are Katzkin or Roadwire seats.
Volume dealer install price is normally $1000 to the Ford dealer.

So is $1200 about the going rate for Katzkins from the dealer? I'm inclined to go this route since they are probably more experienced with correctly disassembling/reassembling the F-150 (although come to think of it, I have yet to really be impressed by a Ford dealer's work). Called my nearest dealer Bob Tomes Ford, and they quoted me $1500 to do it....

When I got mine done, the 2 local ford dealers were bringing the in and out like bees going back and forth to their hive. The Shreveport Katzkin dealer does a huge volume install for local car dealers. You also get the 3 yr 36,000 when installed by a Katzkin dealer.
