I just added Katzkins to my 18 XLT Screw. I bought the Katzkin kit off an eBay retailer during the 15% off sitewide eBay ran so I got the kit for $470 shipped. Then I called the installer recommended by the dealership and they charged me $350 to install the kit. They installed the kit in 2 hours while I waited and it looks 100% factory perfect. All in $820 for leather that is better than factory.

I would say anything $1000 and under is a good deal with $800 being about the best you will find unless you have a hookup. $1500 is bending you over with no lube.

My installer said they could have matched my eBay pricing on the leather so I am guessing paying much more than $500 for a SCREW kit is just lining someones pockets. It's widely known it takes 2 to 2.5 hours for a professional shop to install a kit in a Screw (with console shifter). So ask yourself how much you should be paying for 2 hours of labor. The shops charging $1500 are probably making $1000 for 2 hours of work.

Thats a great deal. I got mine off of Amazon for $550 but when the dealer installed them, he said they were the ungraded model, with more leather than just the seating as verified by the stock number.

This is correct. My dealer gave me the number to the shop he uses so I could go direct. I still shopped it around and ended up paying $900. Dealer price was going to be $1400.

Go direct to a shop or do it yourself!

Who was your Amazon seller?

Thanks! Looks like they have an eBay store as well, and were actually one of the options I saved.

Yeah I called them a few years ago when I had my GMC to see if I could do a local pickup, being in the area temporarily, but no dice. If you have time, watch them for specials. i have seen them drop as low as $500 plus shipping.

Today's the day if you're going to pull the trigger! $487 shipped for Katzkin with eBay's 15% off promotion going on now. Can't wait to get mine installed!

I have the Rodwire seats in my XLT. Completely changed the truck and honestly, after looking at the leather in the Lariat, the seats I have are better quality. No problems with the seat heaters either.
