Default Adding gas from a 2 gal. gas can disaster!

I needed to empty the fuel tank from one of my back up generators and planned to put it in my F150.
Siphoned it out into a 2 gal. gas container which does have a long neck nozzle.

Stuck the gas container's nozzle into my '16 F150's fuel filler hole and started to pour it in.
WTF! Gasoline burped out all over the place.
It wasn't going into the fuel tank creating a big puddle of gas on the floor.
Apparently the plastic nozzle wasn't long or strong enough to open the internal 1-way valve or something.

Hope the hell if i ever run out of gas on the road the nearest station has the right gas can with the right nozzle to open the fuel inlet valve!

After that lesson, now for sure i will never let my fuel go below a 1/4 of a tank.

If you look where your jack is stored you should find a funnel that is for use with gas cans. They did take this into consideration.

You're supposed to use the plastic funnel thats with your jack/tire iron. Then pour into that with a gas can.

One of my buddies was stationed in Afghanistan and a Israeli female soldier had one of those. She just kind walked up to the pee tube and whipped that thing out, did her business and just walked off. Really messed with his mind for half a day or so.
