So I added the LED Brake light under the tailgate which I really like. It plugs into the lighting plug near the hitch. Only problem if sets off the Tow Package indicators on the dash that a trailer is connected and activates the sway bar every time I start the truck. I had U Haul splice the line and add a plug connection under the truck to plug it in and it still does this. Not sure how to solve this problem. Any Suggestions?

 

We responded (a few of us) in the other thread... you need to run a dedicated line from your battery. You can't splice into the trailer harness as it'll think there is something connected and all sorts of things will get enabled/disabled.
