Default Ability to change rear and 360 cameras split-view display default?

I have a 2016 F-150 with SYNC 3 and when I shift to reverse, I want the cameras to default to only the rear-view camera. I find the 360 degree camera worthless and it's currently setup to default to a split-view display which drastically impacts the ability to see with the rear-view camera. Yes, i can press the camera button to change to just the rear-view, but I'm tired of doing it every time I shift to reverse. It's quite annoying and I have not been able to find a setting to change the default display setup.

Is there a work-around? I've even considered unplugging wires to trick SYNC 3 into thinking there's not a 360-camera configuration.

I'd bet there is a ForScan tweak for that. Have you checked that sticky? Soooo many things you can change.

It is a pain in the butt to push every time. However, it does pale in comparison to other more important things in life. I am 6' 2" and have to lean forward and reach for the camera button. A poor placement to say the least much like the radio controls. I find little use for the 360 degree camera except when turning near an immovable object in front of me. The distorted view on the sides make it worthless.

I will try some FORSCAN mods tonight to see if I can figure it out. I agree that the default view is not ideal...

Thats my complaint too, Ram actually got it right, they put the cameras in the mirror body, and no distortion at all, the way it should be. However I do use them and find they come in very handy when parking.

I tried to change the APIM 7D0-02-01 to every combination listed in the Forscan spreadsheet, I never saw any change regardless of the value of the field....
