Default '95 F150 rear end problems please help

I have a 95 f-150 just had the transmission rebuilt and when I drive it it feels like i am towing a trailer so i jacked the rear end up and and put it in drive to see if that was the problem and at first the driver side tire would turn really hard starting and stopping the passenger side was spinning fine i shut the truck off and then tried it again and the problem switched sides now with the truck off and in neutral i tried to turn the tire by hand and it was jerky it would spin and stop as i turned it both sides . WTF???? lol it is getting on my nerves my next step is to check the fluid level in it ans go from there but if anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciate it . thanks

Disconnect the drive shaft to isolate it from the rest of the drive train. If it's still doing it make sure none of your parking brake cables are binding, you did release the parking brake right?

If it still does it pull the drums off and make sure all of the brake components are in working order, if so then pull the diff cover off and have a look inside the pumpkin.
