My 2002 F150 FX-4 Lariat Crew Cab has 184,000 miles on it and developed a bearing wine coming from the rear end. I replaced the outer wheel bearings thinking that was it. Unfortunately not. Everyone i talked to wanted $800-$1000 to fix the internal bearings. I stumbled upon a 9.75" with 3.55 gearing and limited slip for $325, so i bought it and installed on my own (easy to do and works great). Now i have a 9.75" 3.55 NS rear end (Axle Tag V942B) that i don't know what to do with (gears in good shape and new outer bearings complete with rotors and calipers). Does anyone want it or know of anyone that would give a core charge for it?
