Default $750 Private Offer from Ford Transferability

Hey guys.. I have a quick question about the $750 private offer from Ford. I am getting my first F150 in early January (I can't wait to be driving that new rig!).

I went to ford.com to request a brochure to see if I would get a $750 private offer from Ford. I did not, but my wife requested a brochure and she received an coupon for $750. The F150 will be registered to me.. can she "transfer" ownership of her coupon to me? The coupon says "nontransferable outside of household", but since we live together (obviously!) I am thinking I can use it.

Has anyone had a similar situation where they were able to use a $750 offer that was registered to their spouse?

Just buy the truck in both your names. Problem solved.

Do you live in the household? Then you can use it. Simple. But like this guy ^ said, why not register in both?

Thanks fellas! I don't know if in NJ we can have 2 people on the sales purchase order, but I can look into that. Yes.. we live in the same household so it seems like I should be able to use it. I'll reply to this post in mid January with what happens. Thanks again!

You should have no problem using it since it is the same address and that is probably why they didn't send you one as well. I had one and it expired and I kept requesting new brochures with the hopes of getting a new one and I never did. However, when I went in and bought mine they applied the $750 without me ever bringing it up; apparently I was already in the system.

Confirmed! I was able to use the $750 cash offer that was addressed to my wife since we live in the same household.
