well...here we are with 2019 Raptor models announced and build sheets noted...and holy ****, would ya look at that. No V8.
Talking out yer *** about connections you may or may not have is not impressive.

Plenty of guys on here have access to build sheets, motor development info, etc....and they have credibility.

Just a friendly reminder from the mods of the site, let's keep it civil. Debate away but in a civil manner.

Totally civil here, thanks. Lots of civil involvement and volunteerism.

Seriously tho, Ford should go reliability AND performance and TT the Coyote for the Raptor.

I am just going to guess here, but the fact that Ford only offers the one motor for the Raptor means they have done that for a reason. Again, just guessing here, but the groups out there who long await the days when a 15.0 V8 Raptor will come along and makes things right in the world again is not going to change Ford's strategy. If Ford really thought any different motor would sell more units, they would probably do it, but the current configuration sells, and sells for a lot of money, so why change anything? To please a subset of potential Raptor buyers? I'm not the target market for a Raptor, so for me, I have no strong opinions on the motor, configurations, or any other offerings whatsoever. Just throwing out a guess as to why there will be no new motor in the Raptor for 2019.

The fact that the '19 Raptor doesn't have a V8 available NOW means nothing.

This time last year, the '18 F-150 didn't have a diesel available either.

Does this mean you think they still will introduce a V8 for the 2019 model year? When Ford introduced the changes to the 2018 F150, they did announce the diesel was coming. It took a while to get it out, but the announcement was part of the details. Ford just released the changes to the 2019 Raptor, and a new motor was not revealed so just wondering if you think they will still do it and just haven't announced it.

I second that motion!! You wouldn't have to get too crazy on the boost either, 6 or 7 psi would make it go ape squirt and with twins in parallel the lag would be negligible.
