Sick. I always liked the GT(40). I'd like to know what they did with the ecoboost to generate those numbers.

is actually a Chevy guy
Really makes me sad. I'd love to see some version of the flat-plane 5.2 in both the new Raptor and the GT. IDGAF about economy and neither should Ford, especially with these two vehicles. They are about performance and emotion and heritage, not fuel economy numbers; thus they should have V8s.

Is it innovative to find new ways to get the same or marginally better fuel economy and equal power as the old way? It's really just marketing in my opinion. EcoBoost sounds exciting and innovative. I am personally a V8 guy. I don't think I'll ever want a fullsize truck with a V6. It's just wrong to me.

I don't really think a 600hp Eco boost is going to be that fuel efficient. a 600HP in a very light car is going to be a Freaking Blast . I work at a airport and one of our rich customers sent 2 GT40's to Houston ( Hennessey ) and they came back as:
Power:
1000 bhp @ 6,600 rpm
Performance:
• 0 - 60 mph: 2.8 sec.
• 1/4 mile: 10.6 sec. @ 142 mph
• Top Speed: 245 mph
HPE1000 Twin Turbo / Supercharged Upgrade Includes: • Twin 67 mm Ball Bearing Turbos
• Stainless Steel Turbo Exhaust
• Stainless Steel Turbo Down Pipes
• Billet Throttle Body Upgrade
• Twin Wastegates
• Fuel System Upgrade
• Upgraded Mass Air Sensor
• Polished Turbo Inlet & Intake Pipes
• HPE Engine Management Calibration
• All Necessary Gaskets, Fluid & Hardware
• Professional Installation
• Chassis Dyno Tuning & Testing
• Road Tuning & Testing
