Default 5.5 foot bed with toolbox and bedrails??

So trying to dress up my new to me '11 150 4x4. its the 5.5' box and is silver with the chrome package (chrome wheels, handles, grill, bumpers, steprails, etc). im about to order a bullbar for the front, So i would like to get me a short chrome diamond plate toolbox to dress up the other end of the truck and to put my basic road stuff in, and got to thinking i might as well get me some chrome tube bedrails to go after the toolbox. but my wife thinks it will look funny because of the short bed, and i cant really find any pics of any trucks that have this combination to be sure.. does anybody have a setup like this or have any pics?

I don't think it will look funny but you will loose a significant amount of bedspace depending on how far the tool box goes down. I was going to put a toolbox in mine but I don't really need one and would rather have my full 6.5' bed.

A tool box is going to eat a lot of bed space. Even with a slim line box, you're going to end up with a 4ft bed!!!

Its what I am doing to my 5.5' bed as well, just waiting on new bed rail covers. I think the toolbox and box rails look good in pickups.

Agreed they look good but make your bed space pretty minimal. Id rather be able to use my bed than have it look good personally, although mine is an 04 and I could care less how it looks right now.

Yeah you will have some space taken up but if its that big to haul that I need more room I will just take one of my trailers. Its going to come down to what each wants to do and what he/she likes.
