I READ ON ANOTHER SIT OF AN AIR BOX MOD FOR A 5.4L IF ANYONE HAS ANY LINKS OR INFO ON THIS I WOULD APPRECIATE IT OR IF YOU HAVE FEEDBACK OF KNOWN PROBLEMS OR OCCURANSES WITH THIS-$HOUP

Default anything that can be done to the 09 intake
versus spending $250 for an aftermarket CAI???

Someone on here also took off the baffles on the intake pipe itself. Might be a worth while mod if a CAI is out of the budget.

Go to your Ford dealer and look at the Shelby GT500 air cleaner/box.I did the same thing to my F150's air box and it works great.Very simple mod and got more power,and improved gas mileage 1.5 mpg.
