My brother had a 5.7 hemi with 37s it was a crew cab 2500, it was the meanest truck I have ever seen, you could romp on it and have both tires spinning and smoking like a champ haha. I was deff a quick truck

I've driven the 5.7 Hemis, and those things always made plenty of power, but none of them would pull the mileage of the 5.0 -

If you were dragracing one, your advantage would be that slick six-speed tranny.

With my boss intake and tune I have raced several hemis. One was a reg cab with Cai tune and exhaust. In 1/8th mile I put 2 lengths on him. I probably would have been even stock but I also outweigh him by at least 1000#
I also raced a hemi 4 door 4x4 that had stroker kit to 400+cubic inch ported heads and intake Cai longtube headers and tune. He beat me by about 2 lengths.
Stock trucks same weight 5.0 should win because of 6 speed.

Ive raced hemis with my 5.4L and take them by maybe a bumper lenght

I lost against my brothers 2011 4.6 v8 ram. I slowly beat him shifting my 5.0 manuely. His is bone stock an mine has a 6" lift and 35's and 3 people in it.
