As it has gone on since 2011, no real instigation needed, I'd think.

Take a look into how the turbos on the ecoboost motors are tied into both the oiling system and the coolant system on these vehicles and tell me there isn't much more potential for leaks and failures etc compared to the 5.0.
Love these statements. Can you back that up?

Not really on 1 fence or the other. . . but. . . . .

Having 2 turbos less than a twin turbo pretty much automatically means it has less moving parts.

I guess I'll add my $0.02 in... I'm pro 5.0, but I have nothing against the 3.5 or 2.7 Eco Boost. The torque they produce is very impressive and I will not take that away from it. But that 5.0 has been proven time and time again to be very reliable. I follow quite a few people on social media who own modded 2013-2014 Mustang GT's. And when I say modded, I mean prochargers and turbos making 600+ WHP on stock internals. They all drive their cars like they stole them, and some made it 100k + miles without a hiccup.

Now if they can do that with boost on stock internals, driving it like it's stolen all the time, how long will my 5.0 last when it's driven like a grandpa all the time, bone stock with no power adders? I understand they're not exactly the same motor, but pretty much. More often than not, I hear "I wish I had bought the 5.0 instead of the Eco Boost". Rarely is it the other way around.
