I just did a quick overnight trip to Emmitsburg, MD this past weekend - about 215mi one way. Reset the computer as I got on the turnpike and was at about 19.1 mpg when we got there. Kicked around Mt. Saint Mary's area for a day and drove back w/o resetting and ended up at 17.2 total mpg for the trip on one tankful, average highway speed was 72-75mph. I'm pretty happy with that and I'm happy with my 5.0 so far.

Since then my driving has mostly been around town and short trips not on the highway and I'm hovering around 15.5-15.9mpg according to my computer.

It would be nice if people would also list their differential ratio.

SCrew, 4x4, 3.73 getting average daily MPG of 17.3-17.6 mostly highway miles at 60mph. We are in north GA mountains right now and with all the mountain driving I am getting 17.6, I thought it would be worse, pleasantly surprised!

Best i got was just shy of 21.5 at 65-75mpg AC cycling on and off with air temps between 65-78. I avg 16.5 since buying it doing 60-70% city driving.

I Have the same set up and I am about indentical with ur mileage. I had a 5.0 with the 3.55 gears and averaged much better on the highway about 22.5 at 70 mph. The truck got trashed in a hail storm so I traded it. The 3.73 gear pulls my boat much better on the highway.
