$4 gas...what would you to do?

My truck is not a daily driver, It is sort of my "classic car" but rather a new truck. I use is for hauling when I need it and for pleasure driving. I have no plans to change my driving habits, but I may use it less on longer distances. It is what it is, I think gas is going to spike for the summer and come down in the fall, seems to be the trend and nothing we can do!

I'm doing option #1 on MustangAndy's choice list. I hate to see the price of gas go up because it means every other item's price increases, and it is a wonder why people don't tie the price of gas to inflation, when it is one of the core price dictating factors for goods/services out there.
I stated this before -- yes, it takes more money than stuffing gas in a Prius. However, the cost of gas is definitely worth it when some moron who is drunk slams into my truck... that is where having a safe vehicle comes into handy, and retaining my ability to walk will be well worth the cost difference in gas between a F-150 and a econobox.

Not going to worry about it and drive... May combine trips and work a few more hours if it starts to sting.
Hell I've had my truck just over a month, coming from a Chevy Colorado. I knew what gas prices were going to do, but with my daughter in the back seat and another on the way. Yeah, kinda don't give a s*^t when I think about the added protection of the f-150 SCrew over the Colorado Crew. Not to mention the added room is glorious since car seats are now the size of a damn prius themselves!

I keep driving. It's $3.92 and I'm lucky to get 15mpg. Besides, $2000+ for an economy car buys a lot of gas, and I don't need to buy more insurance, or registration or parts etc.

if I could pay 100$ to fill up my truck would have 40s, lift it 6" and use as a daily driver..

Gas was $4 buck's a gallon about 2 year's ago but came back down. I was using $24 buck's a day just for the pleasure of commuting to work. The new truck get's about 3 more mpg so it's not quite so bad. 100 mile a day commute.
