Default 4 buttons with circular icons?

I have a 2018 F-150 XL 8'-0" bed. There are 4 buttons that have small circles in the center of each button. The buttons are located just above the airbag icon. This is between the radio and climate control. I searched the manual for 2 hours , talked with a ford rep online. No one knows what these buttons are for. Supposedly I will receive tech help in 3 days by email. I understand most everything else.
Too bad I couldn't buy another F-150 like the one I traded in. That truck was a standard shift, no fancy dash. Wife says she will teach me to drive an automatic LOL. This is the first automatic transmission I ever owned. Hope somebody knows what these buttons are for.

Pic of said buttons?

I'm thinking they are button blanks since you have an XL

Did you search the paper manual? Or the PDF version (which is much easier & faster to search using CTRL+F)?

If he can’t figure out the buttons will he really figure out how to post pics on here?

To OP did you try pushing them?

I’m guessing they are blanks for accessories

Thanks ,I believe you are correct. The buttons are for accessories that I do not have. As to other posts, I did try pushing the buttons and spent 2 hours searching the manual to no avail. The picture you posted is exactly what I have. I also contacted Ford support online. After twenty minutes or so the lady I chatted online with gave up. She told me that tech support will contact me in 3 days. As far as posting a picture, Hadn't thought of that, probably would have screwed it up even if I tried.
I am a low tech guy in a high tech world.
Thanks , mike

They correspond to your radio display. If you get a text message or other prompts on your screen you will see the words, those little buttons underneath with the circles is the entry button. Theses are not touch screens, they still use manual inputs from buttons. Hope this helps. Look under the SYNC section in your manual.

This ^^^

OP, your salesperson is supposed to run through ALL the functions on your truck at delivery. Go back and make him, or the dealership expert, do it.
