3 inch or 2 inch leveling kit?

i have found in doing some research that some of the 3" kits and 2.5 kits measure the same at 1.75 tall of spacer.. I had bought the 3" so i will be using it..
also with the 2.5 or 3" you may want to add 1-1.5 to the rear.. so if your just going form the LEVEL look then 2" is plenty

Need help
Hello I am new to this so I need some help. I was wondering if I got a 3 1/2 inch leveling kit for my 06 ford f-150 xlt 4.6L 4x4 off road woill I need to get blocks in the back to make it all around level? Thanks for your help
